Bangladesh is an independent sovereign state. Which gained independence from Pakistan in 1971. Even before that, various local rulers ruled here. The region came under British rule after British occupied India. Then during the partition of India, this region was given under Pakistan. Then this region was named East Pakistan. After 200 years of British rule, the region was ruled by Pakistan for another 23 years. Then, in the face of various demands, the Bengalis gained the independence of the region through a bloody war of about 9 months.

98% of the people living in the country are Bengalis, besides 13 tribes live in this country. Bengali is the mother tongue of this country, 98% of the people speak Bengali. The official languages here are Bengali and English. Bangladesh has 64 districts and 8 divisions. There are some variations of language depending on the region Although there is regionalism in the language, pure Bengali is understandable by almost everyone.
